Mariana graduated as a Certified Piano Technician from the distinguished North Bennet Street School in Boston, Massachusetts. Trained and proficient in piano tuning, regulation, rebuilding, and restoration, she holds the status of Registered Piano Technician with the Piano Technicians Guild.

After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Science and a career as a Geographic Information System analyst, Mariana's interests turned to her late father's work in piano technology. She began her second career with an internship at M. Steinert and Sons in Boston while studying at the North Bennet Street School. After graduation, she was asked to continue work in the rebuilding shop at the school while establishing the foundation for her own business.

In addition to her private practice, Mariana is currently manager of Harvard University's Piano Technical Services. She is available for appointment in Metro West, Cambridge and surrounding areas.
